Conveyancing Assistant Job in Selby An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy and well-established residential property team at a respected law firm in Selby. This full-time, office-based position is ideal for someone with at least twelve months of practical conveyancing experience, particularly in residential sales and purchases.This role is client-facing and perfect for a proactive, friendly and professional individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. You will support Solicitors and Fee Earners with a high-volume caseload, handling all aspects of the administrative process from file opening through to completion.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in conveyancing and further develop their legal skills within a supportive and collaborative team.Key Responsibilities:
Opening new client files and inputting information into the case management systemPreparing initial correspondence and legal documents including sale contractsManaging transactions in line with internal processes and proceduresOrdering property searches and drafting client reportsAssisting with the exchange of contracts, completions and post-completion workCommunicating with clients, estate agents and Solicitors via phone and emailHandling incoming and outgoing postSupporting general office administration including billing, filing and archiving
What We’re Looking For
