About Our Client
Our client is based in Christchurch, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the accountancy team is looking for additional support.
Job Description
3. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
4. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
5. Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
6. Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
7. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
8. Assist with VAT returns and compliance reporting.
9. Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.
10. Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
15. Knowledge of VAT and financial compliance regulations.
