The P1 Associate Scientist is responsible for supporting the delivery of multiple NPD projects through laboratory based supporting activities such as IHC staining and microtomy.

The position reports to R&D Technical Team Leader and is part of R&D located in LBS Newcastle and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

* Develop skills in immunohistochemistry

* Support the development of NPD projects under Design Control

* Contribute towards department innovation activities

The essential requirements of the job include:

* Experience working within the Biomedical field.

* Experience of working within a regulated environment (desirable).

* Understanding of histopathology, histological/immunohistochemical and molecular biology techniques.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

* Microtomy

* FISH/ISH
