We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate team of live-in carers to support a gentleman living with a spinal injury in Crowthorne, RG45. This is a great opportunity to provide consistent, one-to-one care in a calm home setting, working on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation. About the Role: Youll be supporting a client in their own home, where he lives with his wife and a cat. The client has a S pinal Cord Injuries and is preparing for discharge from hospital. He also has heart conditions and arthritis, which are part of his ongoing care needs. Care will be provided by a rotating live-in care team, with carers alternating on a fortnightly basis to ensure both continuity and appropriate rest. As a live-in carer, you will be: Assisting with personal care and hygiene Supporting mobility and safe transfers (hoisting needs TBC) Helping with medication and general health monitoring Preparing meals and supporting light household tasks Providing companionship and emotional support Respecting the presence of a cat in the home Working closely with the client, his wife, and professionals involved in his care Job Details: Job Type: Live-in care 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation Shift Pattern: Fortnightly live-in rota Pay Rate: circa £140/day Location: Crowthorne, RG45 Driver: Good to have (not a must) What Were Looking For: Were looking for caring and reliable individuals who can communicate well and provide steady, respectful support. Ideally, youll have around 6 months of care experience in the UK, but you dont need any previous experience with spinal injuries just a willingness to learn, a great attitude, and a genuine commitment to quality care.
