Reference 2025-98318 Update date 24/04/2025 Business type Types of Jobs - Corporate & Investment Banking Job title 12 Month Internship - Corporate Structuring Contract type Internship/Trainee Term (in months) 12 Management position No Job summary Summary The candidate will be part of the Corporate Risk Advisory team, within Corporate Structuring. The aim of the team is to help our corporate clients to understand their financial risks, and identify the optimal way to manage these risks. This leads to stronger client relationships and therefore increased business with those clients. The team typically analyses risk with the use of mathematical/statistical analysis, so strong quantitative skills are crucial. However, it is also important to be able to communicate complex ideas clearly, as the analysis ultimately needs to be presented to clients who may be less comfortable with quantitative topics. Key Responsibilities Produce risk analysis and presentations that: - identify different types and sizes of client risk exposures - quantify associated market risks (linked to FX, interest rates, inflation, commodity/energy prices, including effects of correlations) - lay out potential hedging, financing or investment solutions (including through numerical optimisation methods) - identify efficient / cost-effective solutions to mitigate the risks (as well as qualify for hedge accounting treatment). Target clients are Corporate and Financial Sponsor clients globally (including infrastructure and energy transition projects), working alongside Corporate Sales/Solutions, Financing and Coverage teams. Lead / contribute to automation projects (in Python or VBA) to: build new or improve existing tools, dashboards and models; and to support the team in quantitative analyses / reports. Potentially support the Corporate Financial Engineering team through ad hoc requests on pricing / simulations. Depending on market contexts, the candidate could work on topical themes (e.g. impacts of: geopolitical events; trade & tariff wars; regulatory changes or reforms; market shifts and dislocations; etc.), applying mathematical / statistical analyses and structured solutions to real world situations.
