Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Operations to lead the operational management of IFCC. You’ll be responsible for managing and developing the operational performance of our Active and Passive Product and Installer schemes, ensuring excellent service delivery and robust commercial outcomes. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you’ll also play an essential role in shaping and executing the long-term strategy of the business.
About The Role
Provide strategic and operational leadership across inspection, auditing, and engineering teams
Lead planning and workflow to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
Build strong, collaborative relationships across the senior management team and wider teams
Lead, coach, and manage a high performing team
Develop team capabilities through structured training and succession planning
Support the annual budgeting process and monthly financial reporting cycle
Maintain effective operational processes and ensure they are well-documented and regularly reviewed
Represent operations at key customer meetings and support long-term relationship management
Monitor and respond to industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments
Provide accurate, timely internal reporting to support continuous improvement
Do you have what it takes?
Proven senior-level experience in a similar leadership role, ideally within a certification or technical services environment
Strong record of operational delivery across multi-site or cross-functional teams
Experience balancing stakeholder needs across customers, employees, and business goals
Skilled in building, managing, and motivating high-performing teams
Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Commercial awareness with the ability to align operations with business strategy
Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence
What can you expect from us in return?
£70,000 - £75,000 per annum
£5,880 Car Allowance
Generous Annual Leave - Starting at 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy additional leave and increased entitlement with length of service
37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, home-based role, with regular visits to the office in Aylesbury
