Overview
The post holder will:
* Support the preparation and assembly of specialised medications in a clean room environment
* Perform specialised cleaning duties and essential environmental monitoring and quality assurance checks
* Maintain equipment and facilities to the highest standards
* Issue stocks and maintain good stock control in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Contribute to the department's continuous improvement initiatives

The Cancer Services Division at UHB delivers world-class cancer care to patients from across the country, with a range of specialised services in oncology and haematology, delivered by a team of specialist pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and assistant technical officers. In this vital role, you\'ll be at the heart of our pharmacy operations, working alongside experienced Pharmacy Technicians to ensure patients receive safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to strict quality standards. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to professional development in pharmaceutical services.
