Classroom Support Assistant

We are seeking dedicated Classroom Support Assistants with relevant experience to join our school community in Portsmouth. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with teachers and pupils to provide essential support, foster inclusive learning, and empower children to reach their full potential. Location: Portsmouth
Hours: Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: ASAP / September
Salary: £430 - £450 per week

What You’ll Do:
✨ Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver engaging, tailored lessons that meet the needs of students with SEMH challenges
✨ Build strong, trusting relationships to foster confidence and emotional stability
✨ Support students in developing social skills and emotional regulation techniques
✨ Maintain a calm and positive classroom environment conducive to learning and wellbeing
✨ Contribute to a team focused on the holistic development of each child, promoting inclusion and safeguarding
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people (1-2 years minimum)
