Salary: AFC Band 6 £32,306.00 - £39,027.00 per annum (depending on experience)
- High Cost Allowance (HCA) payment
- a one off payment equal to 10% of annual base salary recruitment premia
- a retention payment (monthly payment) of 10% from your start date until 31/07/2024.
Current Salary AFC Band 6 £32,306.00 - £39,027.00 .
Revised Salary as of 1 November 2022 will be AFC BAND 6 £33,706 -£40,588 depending on experience.
Annual Leave Entitlement will take into account previous years of service under Agenda for Change terms and conditions
Hours/Contract: Full Time 37.5 hours per week Days and Nights

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated nurse to come and join our Clients Inpatient Unit in North London. The hospice cares for patients with life limiting illness with a range of specialist palliative care needs. You will gain experience in caring for patients admitted to the unit for complex symptom control needs, a rehabilitation programme, and end of life and supportive care. We have an enthusiastic and dedicated team in place and require an experienced nurse to help the continued development of our nursing service.
You will provide expert nursing care working closely with a Clinical Nurse Specialist who will help develop your specialist knowledge and skills. You will be part of a friendly, diverse team and use a patient-centred approach and evidence-based practice to give people the very best end of life care. You will have the opportunity to move beyond conventional nursing duties to provide patients and their loved ones with emotional, psychological and spiritual support.
You will support the Ward Manager to lead the team, motivate staff, problem solve, role model and implement change as necessary. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your managerial and leadership skills together with access to local modules and training to support your personal growth and further develop your career pathway.
A forward thinking individual with excellent communication skills, you will mentor student nurses and support newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship programme. You will be supported in this post by the Ward Manager and Clinical Services Manager.
