Company Overview:
We are supporting a well:established manufacturing site in the Malvern area. The business is looking to grow their Engineering team with a hands:on Maintenance Engineer to keep operations running smoothly and support ongoing site improvements.
This is a practical, workshop:based role with plenty of variety, ideal for someone who enjoys hands:on engineering work in a busyproduction environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Perform hands:on maintenance, fault:finding, and repairs across all site equipment
* Carry out planned, preventive and reactive maintenance to maximise uptime
* Assist with small subprojects, such as equipment modifications or upgrades
* Read and work from technical documentation, including P and IDs, blueprints, and drawings, and liaise with contractors when required
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience with practical problem:solving skills
* Welding (MIG/TIG), pipefitting, and general workshop engineering experience
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering/instrumentation, or apprentice:trained
* Desirable: experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or process machinery
