Software Engineering Manager Join a global SaaS company with a major Belfast engineering hub (80+ people) as they scale their next-generation cloud platform used by leading manufacturers worldwide. You'll lead one or two small engineering teams (approx. 8 engineers total) focused on cloud platform services and application development. The work spans core cloud infrastructure (authentication, tenancy, user management) and front-/back-end apps powering real-time design and analysis tools - with new AI-driven capabilities on the horizon. Key Responsibilities Lead one or more engineering teams (personal preference), driving delivery, process maturity, and code quality. Ensure engineering best practices across Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and release management. Support and mentor engineers - fostering a culture of ownership and accountability. Provide technical leadership and input (Java, Python, React) without being hands-on daily. Champion continuous improvement and scalable product delivery. Ideal Profile Experience as a software engineering Manager or Team Lead ready to step up - Proven experience of managing and developing software teams Strong cloud/SaaS background with solid technical grounding - previously been a software developer with strong hands on technical awareness.
