Job Title Associate Job Description Summary Associate – Property & Asset Management Birmingham | Hybrid (2–3 days per week in the Birmingham office) Job Description Cushman & Wakefield We’re looking for an ambitious Associate to join our growing Property & Asset Management team in Birmingham. This is a key client-facing role with a unique split: managing a diverse Midlands portfolio for a leading investment client, while also acting as an account manager for a major pensions client. The Role 50% – Property Management (Investment Client) Manage a varied portfolio of industrial, retail and small office assets across the Midlands. Responsibilities include: Full service charge oversight, budgeting & reconciliation Day-to-day tenant engagement and lease management Ensuring compliance, H&S, and operational excellence across the estate Working closely with FM, ESG and wider service lines to drive value Acting as primary point of contact for the investment client 50% – Account Management (Pensions Client) Serve as the dedicated account manager for one of our long-standing pensions clients, delivering premium client care and commercial insight: Coordinating instructions and reporting across a mixed portfolio Leading client meetings and presenting updates Managing workflows, performance metrics and governance Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and cross-service collaboration Leadership & Team Management Line management of two support staff, providing guidance, development and workload prioritisation Supporting team culture, best practice sharing and operational efficiency What We’re Looking For Experience in commercial property management (industrial/retail/office preferred) Strong understanding of service charge management and landlord/tenant relationships Confident communicator with proven client-facing capability Ability to lead, influence and manage multiple stakeholders Organised, proactive and commercially minded MRICS preferred but not essential Why Cushman & Wakefield?
