Job Description
Three Bridges Recruitment are supporting a Glasgow based public sector body with the recruitment of an Audit Manager. This is a specialist role, where you’ll lead key ICT, data and cyber assurance work across one of Scotland’s largest and most complex public bodies.
You’ll manage a small team, partner with senior officers, and play a central part in delivering high-quality audit activity across major digital programmes, including the transition to a new ERP system. Experience in ICT audit, cyber security or data analytics will be especially valuable given the scale and technical breadth of the work you’ll oversee.

The Job
You’ll take ownership of delivering high-quality internal audit work:
* Leading and developing a team of auditors and trainee auditors
* Planning, allocating and delivering a complex audit portfolio (c. 30–40 audits a year)
* Managing ICT, data and cyber-related audit activity, including assurance for major systems
* Supporting the organisations shift towards data analytics and whole population testing
* Undertaking complex audit work and investigations, including fraud and theft cases
* Reviewing work to ensure clarity, accuracy and high standards
* Preparing reports for senior officers, committees and external stakeholders
* Representing Internal Audit at governance groups & security working groups
* Working constructively with IT service providers
* Providing assurance and insight on the implementation of a new ERP system
* Supporting continuous improvement across the wider Internal Audit function
You
You will bring:
* Full CCAB qualification or full membership of CIIA is essential
* Strong public sector understanding, local government, NHS, central government or other politically influenced bodies
* You don’t need management experience, there will be support for you to build this
* Awareness of ICT assurance, cyber security controls or data analytics
* Confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
* Sound judgement, objectivity and integrity
* The ability to analyse information, make decisions and work independently
* A supportive leadership style, able to coach, guide and develop auditors and trainees
