Job Title: Senior Finance Business Partner Operations
Purpose of the Role:
We are recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner to support the Interior Operations Finance Team, providing insights and support to leadership and operational teams. The role involves delivering accurate financial performance information, analysis, and promoting effective financial management to enable business success.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage one member of the Ops Finance Team.
* Partner with senior non-financial stakeholders, analyzing financial and KPI reports to provide insights that influence decision-making.
* Collaborate with operational managers to challenge variances and improve efficiencies.
* Lead in preparing monthly, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets.
* Communicate with cost centre heads to analyze actuals and forecasts.
* Monitor management account packs, focusing on profitability and performance.
* Enhance financial reporting understanding by linking financials to business strategy.
* Ensure timely, quality reporting with proper controls and reconciliations.
* Develop reporting inputs with local Finance Teams for a comprehensive finance service.
* Conduct ad hoc investigations, reports, capital proposals, and financial strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
* At least five years of post-qualified experience in relevant roles.
* Strong manufacturing and operational reporting experience.
* Analytical background with understanding of financial management, controls, and governance.
* Proven relationship-building skills across functions.
* Experience with standard costing systems, variance analysis, and ERP updates.
Skills & Attributes:
* Advanced Excel skills for large data analysis.
* Analytical mindset for interpreting data and providing insights.
* Effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to prepare detailed financial models for decision-making.
* Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
