Willowbrook Medical Practice is seeking a motivated, patient‑centred Salaried GP (4 sessions per week) to join our supportive and forward‑thinking team on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract.

Main duties of the job
About the role
* 4 sessions per week (days flexible by agreement preferably Thu & Fri)
* Typical session:
* ~1415 patient contacts (mix of face‑to‑face and telephone)
* Structured admin time built into the session
* Home visits shared across the team, with support from multidisciplinary colleagues
* Duty system supported by GP team and wider MDT
* Use of SystmOne clinical system
You will undertake the full range of GP duties, including consultations, clinical decision‑making, prescription management, and clinical administration.

Person Specification
Experience
* Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services
* Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date
* Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety
* Commitment to life‑long learning and audit to ensure evidence‑based best practice
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Team player with a positive outlook
* GP trainer would be an advantage
* Possible interest in women’s health, contraception and family planning
* Full driving licence
* Ideally located in a reasonable travel distance to the Practice with a full driving licence
Qualifications
* Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
* Annual appraisal and revalidation, when appropriate
* Be on the NHSE medical performers list
