Job Introduction

Main Responsibilities
As a Band 5 Podiatrist, your responsibilities include:
1. Working as part of the podiatry team, providing assessment and treatment for referred patients.
2. Conducting comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, delivery, evaluation, and discharge of evidence-based podiatry interventions in various locations, such as patients’ homes and community settings.
3. Managing a caseload that includes complex cases, working autonomously with appropriate supervision, demonstrating high-level problem-solving and judgment skills.
4. Promoting health and reducing inequalities by providing health education and opportunities for health promotion to enhance patients’ well-being.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have a Professional Degree or equivalent in Podiatry and current HCPC registration. Evidence of ongoing professional development is also required.
A valid driving license and access to a car are essential, as community visits are part of the role.
