Overview
This position is for a 6-month Fixed Term Locality Administrator for Derbyshire Division to cover a period of maternity absence. You will be based in the North of the region, at Chesterfield Ambulance Station. The post holder will report directly to the Administrator Coordinator and is responsible for the efficient and effective administrative support for the North East region of Derbyshire Division.
Responsibilities
* Management of the Administration inbox.
* Supporting the local management with our estates and facilities.
* Audit completion and documentation.
* Support to the local management and HR team.
* Input and maintenance of databases.
* Ambulance station site visits.
* Deliver high standards of support and administration, ensuring work is prioritised in line with divisional and organisational priorities.
* Work closely with, support and liaise with members of the administration team, local management and HR team, resourcing teams including the Vehicle Resourcing Centre, Logistics and other departments to maintain day-to-day operations.
* Organise and attend local meetings and provide administration support to the local management team.
Qualifications and Skills
* GCSE in Maths and English and an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards.
* Excellent keyboard and administration skills with a proven track record of completing projects, reports and key pieces of work to a high standard.
* Ability to problem solve and plan workload, with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
* Previous NHS experience is an advantage.
Note: This role will involve working closely with the administration team, local management and HR team, resourcing teams and other departments to maintain day-to-day operations. The position is based at Chesterfield Ambulance Station in the Derbyshire region.
