Merseyside is one of the smallest geographical forces but serves a diverse population in a challenging policing area, responding to almost 1 million calls for service per year. The Force received an additional £12M funding from the Home Office this year to continue the incredibly important work to tackle county lines and serious violence.

Our Force Strategy

Our vision is to put our communities first – we are committed to preventing crime and anti-social behaviour, through our developing approach to preventative policing, in order that we reduce the number of victims particularly those crimes that cause high harm.
