Project Manager, Early Years (Midlands)
£33,000 per year (pro rata where applicable)

About the role
Deliver early years programmes across the East and West Midlands, supporting children aged 0‑5, their families and early years practitioners. This role involves training and supporting local practitioners, working with partners and volunteers to deliver events and activities, and ensuring key milestones and targets are met.
Responsibilities
* Deliver early years programmes for children aged 0‑5, families and practitioners
* Manage a variety of early years projects, including training and supporting local practitioners across a range of settings
* Work with partners and volunteers to deliver events and activities directly to children and families
* Ensure projects meet key milestones and targets
* Collaborate with Early Years Programme Managers on ongoing development and expansion of work
* Work with colleagues in communities and communications to deliver the Early Words Matter campaign
* Travel within the East or West Midlands region and attend national away days, team days, and other required travel
Qualifications
* Recent experience working in or with early years settings, or in an education/charity organisation in the sector
* Thorough understanding of early childhood development from birth to five
* Excellent project management skills
* Experience of event planning and delivery
* Experience working with volunteers in the community (advantage)
* Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
* Subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check in line with safeguarding policy and safer recruitment procedures
