Established manufacturing organisation seeks an experienced NDT Inspector for immediate start. Permanent Contracts offered, varying shifts available, competitive rates of pay and progression opportunities provided. As NDT Inspector you’ll be part of a busy, forward-thinking team, detecting defects using approved NDT methods to ensure components meet safety and quality standards before release. Prior experience in high-precision manufacturing settings, preferably within the automotive or aerospace industries. NDT Inspector duties: * Carry out immersion and contact ultrasonic inspections on aluminium, titanium and steel components * Implement dye penetrant inspection to identify cracks and leaks in non-porous materials * Conduct visual inspections as a preliminary assessment prior to applying advanced NDT techniques * Interpret work instructions and technical diagrams accurately to complete tasks to exact specifications * Mark inspected items with grade and acceptance or rejection status, ensuring traceability * Records inspection findings to determine quantities of defects and maintain accurate documentation * Producing inspection reports to support senior leadership in operational improvements * Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and reliability in testing procedures * Complete all parts and process paperwork in line with quality and traceability requirements * Report discrepancies and non-conformances, assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions * Reject or discards products, materials, and equipment that do not meet required specifications * Collaborate with laboratory teams to identify defect causes and prevent recurrence * Adhere to all regulatory and legislative requirements for Non-Destructive Testing Skills/Experience required for the role of NDT Inspector: * Certified to EN 4179 / NAS 410 / ASNT Level 2 in relevant NDT methods (e.g. Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle) – desirable * Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to defect identification and documentation * Committed to health, safety and environmental compliance in all inspection activities Location: Redditch, Worcestershire Hours of Work: Various Shifts Available Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour Contract: Permanent If you have the experience and skills to fulfil the role of NDT Inspector, please APPLY TODAY
