A busy and well-regarded council based in London is seeking an experienced Childcare & Adult Paralegal to join their legal team on a 3-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive local authority environment, handling meaningful and impactful work.

The Role
\n\n
You will support the Childcare and Adult Social Care legal team, assisting with a varied caseload and providing high-quality legal and administrative support.
\n\n
Your responsibilities will include:
\n\n
\n\t
* Assisting with care proceedings and adult social care matters
\n\t
* Preparing court bundles and legal documentation
\n\t
* Drafting correspondence and legal documents
\n\t
* Liaising with counsel, social workers, clients, and external agencies
\n\t
* Diary management
\n\n\n
Requirements
\n\n
\n\t
* Previous experience working as a Paralegal within Childcare and/or Adult Social Care law (essential)
\n\t
* Experience within a local authority childcare and/or adults’ legal team
\n\t
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and court processes
\n\t
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
\n\t
* Ability to manage a busy caseload in a fast-paced environment
\n\t
* Must be immediately available
\n\n\n
