These include advanced order management systems, a robust product sourcing platform, branded company stores, marketing support, creative services, and preferred supplier partnerships.\n\nAIM continues to grow as a leading force in the promotional products industry, helping members work smarter and thrive in a competitive marketplace.\n\nOverview\n The Sales Account Manager plays a key role in driving growth by identifying and engaging prospective AIM members through prospecting, cold calling, and follow-up outreach to convert leads into active members.\n\nThis role also involves developing a deep understanding of AIM’s proprietary order management platform, Tech Suite, and confidently demonstrating its features, as well as navigating and explaining AIM’s website and suite of member services.\n\nIn addition to new business development, the Sales Account Manager will maintain and strengthen relationships with existing members—gaining insight into their evolving needs, addressing concerns proactively, and supporting long-term member retention.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProspect and qualify potential leads to generate new business opportunities.\nConduct outbound cold calls and emails to engage prospects and schedule meetings.\nBuild and nurture strong relationships with existing members to better understand their evolving needs, proactively address concerns, and help prevent member attrition.\nUtilize virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet) to conduct presentations and product and services demonstrations.\nPrepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person.\nNegotiate and close sales to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.\nProvide an exceptional customer experience to ensure satisfaction and retention.\nStay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.\nMaintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.\nDemonstrate and sell technology solutions, including but not limited to:\n\nAIM Tech Suite order management platform\nWebsites\nPromo Serve\nTechnologo\n\nWork closely with the Customer Success Team to provide more detailed technology presentations when needed.\nProvide regular updates on pipeline trends, offering corrective actions, solutions, and reporting.\nRepresent AIM at industry events and trade shows as needed.\nQualifications & Experience\n\nExperience in the promotional products or printing industry is a plus.\nProven track record of success in inside sales or account management.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.\nExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.\nProficiency in virtual meeting platforms, CRM software (HubSpot a plus), and Microsoft Office Suite.\nSelf-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving sales growth.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nNaturally curious about technology and enjoys exploring technical applications.\nAbility to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language when presenting.\nConfident in presenting to both small and large groups, in person or virtually.\nApplicants must be 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the UK.\n\nBenefits\n\nPension Scheme\nEye care scheme\nHealth care scheme\nBuy and Sell annual leave\n\nINDLS
