We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our central Portfolio Office team. The successful candidate will be part of a team of change professionals working with stakeholders to deliver a wide range of strategic projects to improve the quality of our services for our supporters, volunteers and staff. Projects and programmes at the RNLI are varied, and we are looking for all round business analysis experience.

Your Role
As a Business Analyst, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:
9. Work across the RNLI at all levels, to gather, document and analyse functional and non-functional requirements which will be used to help define the scope and deliverables of strategic projects
10. Utilise business analysis tools and techniques including workshop facilitation, process mapping and requirements prioritisation
11. Support project stakeholders and teams to influence, develop and deliver strategic change within the organisation
12. Identify, analyse, and respond to project risks, pre-empting potential issues and in some cases challenging the design and development community to work towards solutions
13. Input into continuous improvement initiatives to improve the maturity of the BA team at the RNLI
About You
To be considered as a new Business Analyst you will need:
14. Strong experience as a Business Analyst working on projects throughout their lifecycle
15. Good end to end requirements management understanding, with experience in writing requirements documentation
16. Strong communication skills to build good relationships with our key stakeholders and customers
17. To be a team player who is highly self-motivated and able to work independently
18. Good problem-solving skills and a flexible approach
19. To be a logical and analytical thinker that can quickly evaluate information and identify key issues
20. Experience in testing and test script writing
21. A good level of MS Office knowledge
