Key Details
Reports To: General Manager
Pay: $16.57 - $17.00/hour + tips

Your Responsibilities
As an Animal Care Attendant, you will:
* Embrace and support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Destination Pet.
* Sanitize and disinfect pet enclosures and common areas.
* Ensure all pet guests have clean bedding and fresh water at all times.
* Provide the correct type and quantity of food for each pet, maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas.
* Monitor and accurately chart each pet's consumption and elimination, reporting any concerns to management.
* Conduct visual checks on pet guests for their safety and well-being throughout the day.
* Supervise group play for dogs and individual activities as needed.
* Assist with bathing and grooming of canine guests.
* Maintain cleanliness by checking and picking up excrement from enclosures and other areas.
* Monitor and clean pet belongings, ensuring they are returned to owners.
* Perform daily laundering of pet bedding and towels.

Requirements:
Expertise & Experience:
* A true pet fanatic—pets are part of our family!
* Professional animal care or kennel experience is preferred.
* Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
* This is an entry-level role; high school students, college students, and teenagers 16+ are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements:
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds.
* Must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs for the duration of your shift.
* Comfortable handling dogs on leashes.
* Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectants, animal dander, and excretions.
