This HR Advisor role, with a focus on Learning & Development and Early Careers, reports into a Learning & Development specialist and plays a key part in delivering a high-quality HR service. The position supports the design and delivery of early careers programmes, helping to attract, recruit, onboard, and develop emerging talent while ensuring a positive and structured experience.
In addition, the role contributes to a proactive and flexible HR function across the site. As a key user of the HR information system, the postholder supports effective processes and helps drive a modern, efficient HR operational model.
Key Responsibilitie
* Provide generalist HR support, including employee relations, performance management, absence, engagement, and retention
* Offer expert advice on employee relations matters such as conduct, grievances, performance issues, and organisational change
* Coach and support line managers to ensure consistent and fair application of policies and procedures
* Support early careers activity, including recruitment campaigns, assessment processes, onboarding, and cohort coordination
* Coordinate and deliver Learning & Development initiatives, including inductions, compliance training, and development programmes
* Manage learning systems and training administration, maintaining accurate records and ensuring audit readiness
* Provide pastoral support to early careers participants, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and relevant regulations
* Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes, data, and employee experience
