Family Solicitor / Legal Executive Job Description / Person Specification
Job Summary:
Risdons Solicitors are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Solicitor to join our reputable Taunton branch. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of family law matters including:
* Divorce and separation
* Financial Remedy proceedings
* Private children matters
* Cohabitation disputes
* Domestic abuse applications
* Pre and post-nuptial agreements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced family solicitor to join a supportive and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied caseload of family law matters from start to finish
* Conduct face to face client meetings
* Provide excellent legal advice to clients
* Draft and review legal documents, agreements and court applications
* Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings where appropriate
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and SRA regulations
* Maintain high standards of client care and build long-lasting client relationships
* Contribute to business development and networking initiatives as required
Qualifications / Experience:
* Experienced Solicitor / Legal Executive with Proven experience in family law
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
* Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
* Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office
Soft Skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
* A team player with a positive and service orientated attitude
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
