Link3 Recruitment are looking for a caring, committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist school community, supporting students aged 7–19 with autism and/or communication and interaction needs (no learning disabilities). As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Work closely with teachers and therapists to support students’ learning and wellbeing Help create a calm, structured and nurturing environment where students can thrive Support communication, emotional regulation and social interaction Celebrate progress, big and small, and help students build confidence in themselves Our students are curious, capable and ambitious. With the right support, they achieve incredible things. You will: Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant / LSA) Be nurturing, patient and empathetic in your approach Have experience working with children or young people (school, care, or similar settings) Ideally have experience supporting speech, language and communication needs (highly desirable) Be reflective, resilient and passionate about inclusive education Experience with autism and communication-focused approaches is an advantage—but most important is your commitment to understanding each child as an individual.
