Link3 Recruitment are looking for a caring, committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist school community, supporting students aged 7–19 with autism and/or communication and interaction needs (no learning disabilities).
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Work closely with teachers and therapists to support students’ learning and wellbeing
* Help create a calm, structured and nurturing environment where students can thrive
* Support communication, emotional regulation and social interaction
* Celebrate progress, big and small, and help students build confidence in themselves
Our students are curious, capable and ambitious. With the right support, they achieve incredible things.
You will:
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant / LSA)
* Be nurturing, patient and empathetic in your approach
* Have experience working with children or young people (school, care, or similar settings)
* Ideally have experience supporting speech, language and communication needs (highly desirable)
* Be reflective, resilient and passionate about inclusive education
Experience with autism and communication-focused approaches is an advantage—but most important is your commitment to understanding each child as an individual.

DBS:
All applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one prior to starting work.
