Job Description
Operations is the core of Amazon, ensuring the efficient dispatch and delivery of orders to meet customer expectations. Delivery Station Managers lead teams to excel in safety, quality, and productivity across our sites. You will oversee teams, develop operational plans, and drive excellence to shape the future of Amazon's logistics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop a team of Area Managers.
2. Own site operations, address issues, and enhance performance.
3. Analyze performance data and implement improvement initiatives.
4. Collaborate with support teams such as HR, Finance, DSP, IT, ACES, and Engineering.
5. Design and execute operational improvement projects.
A Day in the Life
You will have full ownership of your Delivery Station, leading daily operations, monitoring performance, and innovating for better customer service. Your role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, performance analysis, and mentoring your team to achieve top results.
Basic Qualifications
* A degree.
* Experience in people and stakeholder management.
* Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and intermediate in the local language.
* Experience using data or anecdotal evidence for decision-making.
* Experience in production and supply chain areas.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
* Experience in logistics environments.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
