Macgregor Black are partnering with a Global Market Leading Housewares brand, on the search for a Key Account Manager - Furniture. This is a permanent position which is remote.
As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for driving commercial performance within the Sales function. You will be a critical thinker who is dynamic and positive; your ideas and initiatives will contribute to the success of the team and the company. Excellent organisational, analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills are critical to the role. A previous experience within the homewares and furnishing products across key national retailers is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and foster new relationships with major retail clients.
* Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
* Create sales strategies for each major client.
* Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
* Ensure the correct products are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
* Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
* Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
* Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
* Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience of dealing with key national retailers such as SCS, Furniture Village, Harvey Norman, John Lewis.
* Strong communicator with the ability to drive existing business forwards and open new leads.
* Self-motivated, able to prioritise and set own deadlines working autonomously.
* Proven track record of growing existing accounts.
* History of seeking out new business leads and delivering them as new accounts.
* Comfortable reporting into all levels of the business, and producing presentations on their area as necessary.
* Thoroughly organised, and able to implement systems and procedures to aid with internal communication.
