Class 1 Driver
The Role:
HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Lutterworth, This is an ongoing role doing 2-3 deliveries per day, you may have the odd collection/back load. This is long and Mid distance work.
Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:
* Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses & RDCs
* Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor
* no handball, this is a nice haulage role
* Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
* Maintaining excellent customer service standards
Requirements for the Class 1 driver:
* Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
* Strapping and Reversing competence
* New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided
* HGV LTD drivers welcome
Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:
* Start times between 6.00am - 07:00am
* Shifts: 10-12 hours depending on route
* PAYE Pay rate: £16.50 - £18.00 per hour
