SHEQ Coordinator
Location: COMAH Facility - River Thames
Type: Full-Time | Site-Based
We are seeking an experienced L3 SHEQ Coordinator to support operations on a COMAH-regulated major hazard facility located on the River Thames. This role sits within a live industrial and marine environment and requires strong regulatory knowledge, site presence, and confident stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
* Support compliance with COMAH Regulations and site Safety Report.
* Monitor Permit to Work systems and high-risk activities (confined space, hot works, lifting, marine transfers).
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and behavioural observations.
* Review RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are implemented.
* Support environmental compliance, including spill prevention and river interface controls.
* Assist with incident investigations and corrective action tracking.
* Deliver inductions and toolbox talks to workforce and contractors.
* Maintain SHEQ documentation, reporting, and compliance registers.

Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
* Experience working on COMAH or major hazard sites.
* Strong understanding of UK HSE legislation and Permit to Work systems.
* Experience within industrial, energy, process, or storage environments.
* Confident communicator with strong reporting skills.

* Process Safety or Environmental qualification.
* Experience with marine or port operations.
* Internal auditing experience (ISO 45001 / 14001 / 9001).
