A respected independent operator within the UK's energy infrastructure sector is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Project Engineer to help deliver its 2025 asset improvement programme. This is a hands on contract role at a critical operational facility, ideal for someone experienced in brownfield projects and technical upgrades within a COMAH-regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and support the delivery of small to medium scale brownfield projects through front end development, execution, and close-out. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and contractor teams to implement upgrades to mechanical systems, access infrastructure, and safety equipment. Prepare and manage technical documentation including Statements of Requirements, Scopes of Work, cost estimates, and schedules. Provide engineering input into the planning and coordination of site activities, ensuring alignment with operational and safety standards. Support site maintenance teams in the execution of technically complex upgrades. Identify project risks and contribute to mitigation planning and safety assurance.
