Role & Responsibilities: Lead dimensional control and inspection on high-value machining projects. Ensure work meets exacting standards and tolerances. Use advanced metrology tools, including laser trackers, for precision measurement and inspection. Provide technical reports and customer updates, including presentations. Support toolmaking and on-site machining teams where required. Expect significant overseas travel (assignments typically 2 days - 3 weeks; long hours may be required) Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Strong background in precision engineering, toolmaking or metrology. CAD experience (particularly for jigs, fixtures, and reverse engineering). Confidence in customer-facing situations, ideally with some sales or client liaison exposure.
