Due to continued growth, we are urgently seeking a full time Senior Support Worker to join our team in Kemble House.
About Kemble House
Kemble House supports 15 people with Learning Disabilities and Autism to develop their skills and work towards living the life they want to live.
We offer sector leading training and coaching to help their staff level up and further their career by learning new key skills, gaining a variety of excellent qualifications which can led to a vast number of progression opportunities within the social care sector.
If you are a Support Worker or Care Assistant with an NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care and the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every, this may be the role for you!
Responsibilities
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including
* Managing a team of Support Workers
* Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
* Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
* Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
* Liaise with health professionals and their families
* Complete supervisions and audits
* To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
