About the role
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons in the absence of the regular teacher or as part of a longer-term placement. Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)
2. Encourage student engagement with problem-solving and mathematical reasoning
3. Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
4. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
5. Manage behaviour in line with school policies
6. Assess and monitor student progress where required
7. Provide feedback to teaching staff and departments

Requirements
12. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential)
13. Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
14. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
