Now, as part of Bosch Mobility, we are driving innovation within the Automated Driving Alliance – a strategic partnership between Bosch and Volkswagen Group's CARIAD. We are leading the efforts to create, manage, and evaluate cloud-based simulation within a state-of-the-art standardised software platform, enabling our automotive partners to build automated driving systems that are safer, smarter, and more scalable than ever before.

About the Team
The position will be within our Applied Research team led by Dr. Puneet Dokania. The group has been actively conducting and publishing state-of-the-art research in machine learning while also playing a crucial role in building the future of autonomous driving within Bosch. Our focus is to develop cutting-edge technologies to enable driverless cars. One example project can be looking into different aspects of building accurate, efficient, and reliable Vision-Language-Action models for driving in urban scenarios. We also regularly publish numerous high-quality papers at top tier conferences (e.g. NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TMLR) and would like you to be involved in the process. * You will hold a Masters or a PhD in computer vision, machine learning, or a closely related field.
* You have an experience in supporting machine learning development by building and maintaining a modern MLOps stack using services like kubernetes, docker and cloud services such as Azure. An experience of 2+ years on this would be preferable,
however
, fresh graduates with solid academics and highly motivated to work and build on these tools will also be considered.
* Experience in pre-training, fine-tuning and benchmarking large-scale machine learning models is preferable.
* You are a competent programmer, preferably in Python. Experience with popular machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
* You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with other researchers and engineers.
* Though not mandatory, a strong publication record in top-quality venues (e.g. CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, SIGGRAPH, etc.) will strengthen your application.
You are a scientist who is also keen to do engineering work (e.g., MLOps) to support scientific progress in building innovative products.
