Kingston Grammar School is seeking an experienced Events Manager to deliver a varied programme of events that build community, showcase the school and support engagement with students, parents, alumni and prospective families. Working as part of the Marketing & Events team, the post holder will plan and coordinate key occasions across the academic year – from Open Days and Prizegiving to alumni gatherings and major internal events – ensuring they run smoothly, safely and to a consistently high standard.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, the Head of Marketing, the Development Office and external suppliers, overseeing the full event cycle from initial planning to post‑event evaluation. They will bring strong organisational skills, excellent relationship management and the creativity to elevate every event. Some flexibility is required to support events outside normal school hours, and experience in an education setting would be beneficial but is not essential.
This is a full‑time position based on 40 hours per week, 35 weeks per year (term‑time only), with some scope for additional hours during the school holidays. Flexibility is required as there will be some events before or after core school hours and over some weekends.
Salary: Circa £32,000 – 40,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus generous benefits.
