We have an exciting opportunity for an Recovery Assessment Worker to join our Bootle Team who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week,
Full Time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 Dependent on experience, (non-negotiable starting salary, based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time hours)
Contract Type: Permanent
The successful applicant will start on salary point £27,861.26. There will be no opportunity to negotiate a starting salary at a higher point

Responsibilities
About the Role:
1. Conduct assessments for individuals seeking treatment at both hub and community venues.
2. Implement tailored interventions aimed at reducing the harm caused by opiate use, either through group sessions or one-on-one engagement.
3. Ensure service users receive a comprehensive, recovery-focused detoxification plan, including pre-detox preparation and post-care support.
4. Collaborate with other organisations and the community to enhance the recovery resources available to service users by referring them to mutual aid groups and other networks.
5. Advocate for the involvement of family members, service users, and the community.
6. Serve as a voice for service users in accessing partnership services.
7. Work closely with service users to facilitate their social (re)integration, enabling them to lead fulfilling and purpose-driven lives. This includes promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
About You:
8. Possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for service users affected by opiate use.
9. Excel in both verbal and written communication, with proficient IT skills.
10. Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
11. Hold a strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
12. Thrive as a supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
13. Exhibit the ability to navigate change effectively, always prioritising the needs of service users.
14. Recognise the significance of information governance processes and commit to adhering to all necessary safeguards.
15. Pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance your professional knowledge and skills, while also contributing to the growth and development of your colleagues.
