Quantity Surveyor CSA / Mechanical / Electrical Location: Dublin - Ballymount, Office based Salary Range -€80,000 - €100,000 Reporting to: Estimation & Proposals Lead Park Recruit are working with a leading European data centre delivery specialist, in the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Estimating Department, which is structured into three disciplines Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA); Mechanical; and Electrical. The company offers full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning, with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across Europe. Key Responsibilities: Prepare estimates and pre-construction budgets from drawings and specifications Manage quantities and create detailed pricing documentation Source pricing from Irish and European subcontractors and suppliers Use spreadsheets to evaluate and compare subcontractor bids, providing justification for selections Assist in maintaining the cost database and regional pricing metrics Present estimates to senior management, including the Estimating Director and Board of Directors as needed Build and maintain relationships with key vendors such as subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers Stay up to date with industry developments and best practices Contribute to the improvement of internal procedures to ensure high-quality outputs from the Estimating & Proposals Department Support and adhere to quality assurance processes Participate in personal development planning and performance reviews Undertake additional duties as required by management Maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary and third-party information Demonstrate an understanding of high standards for tender documentation and overall submission quality Uphold and promote company safety standards Identify and flag potential project risks Requirements: A background in Quantity Surveying or Estimating, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Experience in pre-construction is advantageous Strong proficiency in English (written and oral) Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Benefits: Opportunity to work with a market leader in delivering turnkey data centre projects across Europe Competitive salary package Collaborative team environment Supportive career development structure Skills: quantity surveyor estimator construction estimator pre con
