We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. You will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing food preparation and service.
Duties
* Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and dining areas.
* Handle cash transactions and assist with basic math calculations for billing purposes.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt service.
Requirements:
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
* Basic math skills for handling payments and processing orders accurately.

Pay: £12.30 per hour
