Driver – Category C Location: Newport Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00 (40 hours per week) Speedy is the UK’s leading hire provider, offering the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant, and support services – everything needed for every job. We are currently looking for a Category C Driver to join our Newport depot. This is a busy, hands-on role where you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of Speedy hire equipment to customers across the local area. As a key part of our operational team, you will act as the face of Speedy, delivering excellent customer service while representing our values, professionalism, and commitment to safety. About the role Based in Newport, the Driver – Category C role supports the day-to-day delivery of Speedy hire equipment, including tools, plant, and specialist machinery. You will ensure equipment is transported safely, arrives on time, and is presented in excellent condition, ready for customer use. This role is vital to our operation. You will be one of the first points of contact for our customers, playing an important part in building strong relationships and delivering a consistently positive customer experience.
