About the role
A Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Bridge Manor Care Home is responsible for delivering high standards of personal care to residents, ensuring their dignity and independence, and recognising and escalating any clinical risk areas. The role requires a supportive, respectful and compassionate approach to residents and their visitors and a commitment to teamwork.

08:00-20:00 / 08:00-14:00 / 14:00-20:00
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence and dignity.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infection, and raise any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
About You / Qualifications
* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative and respect towards residents and other people in the home.
* Be an efficient worker, able to carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
* Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
* Experience is not required, as a thorough induction and training programme will be provided.
