The Sales Strategy and Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for high-potential markets, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving revenue through new customer acquisition. You will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize operational efficiency and ensure scalable sales processes in this region. The role acts as the point of contact for executing all Commercial Operations activities, both recurring and project-based, within the GV Rise focused team. This person partners with local sales management, sales finance, HR, and other functions on all Commercial Operations initiatives. The GV Rise Senior Manager Sales Strategy & Commercial Ops also facilitates information flow between Worldwide and Regional Commercial Operations teams and serves as the primary feedback channel for all Worldwide Sales initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Support GV Rise VP in designing and delivering the strategic vision for the region through Operating Plan cycles and local growth initiatives.
2. Identify, assess, and prioritize new market opportunities aligned with company growth objectives.
3. Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to new geographies or customer segments.
4. Coordinate with marketing, finance, and product teams to support localized campaigns and initiatives.
5. Provide regular updates and market feedback to senior leadership.
6. Contribute to the rollout of WW/Regional Commercial Ops initiatives, including Sales Automation, Enablement, Sales Training, and Sales Policy, in local language as required.
7. Provide data-driven insights on market segmentation and targeting to define regional strategies with sales leadership.
8. Track KPIs and closing metrics to challenge Sales Leadership and identify areas for sales focus optimization.
9. Support fiscal year planning, territory planning, quota management, and sales compensation activities.
10. Ensure application of Sales Policy.
11. Plan and execute incentive campaigns, contests, and events; track results.
12. Own strategic direction, stakeholder relationships, and escalation processes. Lead analysts supporting daily management.
13. Contribute to onboarding new hires on CRM and sales tools.
14. Manage operational requests and cross-functional projects supporting Sales Strategy.
Experience:
* Strategic thinker with a strong quantitative background.
* 8-10 years of proven experience in fast-paced environments, partnering with senior sales stakeholders.
* Proficient in business English, both oral and written.
* Team player with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
* Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems and data management.
* Experience creating and updating Tableau reports.
* Excellent computer skills, including PowerPoint and Excel.
* Direct selling experience is a plus.
