Role Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Customer Programme Manager, the Customer Programme Manager will implement Programme Management techniques to lead and deliver a range of projects and their associated activities on time and to budget. Leading cross-functional Programme teams, the Customer Programme Manager will be responsible for the efficient, effective and timely delivery of all contracted customer business with the selected customer(s).
Qualifications Required/Essential Skills:Relevant degree (or equivalent)
* Experience of working in project/programme management with demonstrable application of project lifecycle management
* Experience of customer management and interaction, coupled with an understanding of business development activities and strategies
* Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
* An appreciation of Commercial Law, Finance and Contract management
Duties and Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
* Define programme/contract scope, goals and deliverables that achieve stakeholder alignment and support business objectives
* Produce and maintain detailed programme plans & risk assessments to guide both programme execution and programme control in order to capture planning assumptions, decisions, scope and cost and facilitate communication amongst stakeholders
* Be the customer's principal point of contact on all contracted business and related matters
* Lead and manage the Customer Programme Team(s) to ensure successful delivery of the Customer Programme Plan(s).
* Proactively manage changes in programme scope, identifying potential crises, devising contingency plans and maintaining stakeholder alignment to achieve programme deliverables.
* Manage programme milestones to guarantee each stage of the programme is progressing on time, on budget and to the right standard of quality in order that customer expectation is met or exceeded.
* Identify, analyse, prioritise and manage risk through the application of appropriate strategies and resources in accordance with programme objectives, to minimise, monitor, and control the probability, and/or impact of unforeseen events
* Undertake post programme analyses and lessons learned reviews, sharing findings with the team, stakeholders and implementing assigned actions to promote total programme success and continuous improvement
* Establish productive, dynamic, working relationships with all stakeholders, maintaining regular associations through meetings and communications to regularly review programme progress
* Effectively manage the Customer to desired outcomes and implement 'best practice' service to successfully align customer expectations with business goals and sustain/develop business relationships
* Accurately maintain databases, documentation systems and processes to enable timely access to precise information and ensure Oxley quality standards are met
