Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new and existing machinery. Take a proactive approach to identifying improvements, safety enhancements, and long‑term engineering solutions. Diagnose electrical faults, identify root causes, and communicate findings clearly to relevant colleagues. Work collaboratively with the lead technician, maintenance team, and wider departments to ensure smooth operations. Contribute to the development of other engineers through knowledge sharing and teamwork. Essential: ONC/OND/HND/HNC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (Electrical bias essential) Strong electrical fault‑finding skills – *Training can be provided on Siemens PLC’s where necessary, in the form of a course* Experience in heavy engineering electrical maintenance or similar environments. Confident working with AC/DC motors, single‑phase and three‑phase systems. A proactive mindset with the ability to spot issues early and take initiative.
