Overview
The Study Support Service Facilitator is responsible for supporting the delivery of services within the NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) Study Support Service, which will be seamlessly integrated within the collective national Study Support Service, which serves as the cornerstone of the NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN), facilitating the effective delivery of studies throughout the system while enhancing strategic capacity and capability.

RDN Responsibilities
* Clinical trials and other well‑designed health and social care research studies (including studies delivered outside of an NHS setting)
* Public health studies requiring recruitment within an NHS setting (acute, ambulance, mental health, community or primary care) or an episode of care involving NHS contact
* Act as liaison between stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of objectives
* Undertake processes to continually ensure high quality and integrity of data within portfolio management systems
* Support use of digital innovations, including data visualisation tools/dashboards, to inform study and process decision making
* Maintain proficiency in cost attribution tools to support regional organisations with user understanding, support resource access and data requirements
* Support coordination of National Specialty and Setting Groups (organise national meetings and support general activities of National Specialty and Setting Leads)
* Provide administrative support (note‑taking and action tracking) to facilitate operational and project delivery and capture learnings and knowledge for national network benefit
* Support Study Sponsors and delegates in utilisation of the Sponsor Engagement Tool to secure visibility of real‑time research activity data and identify capacity in the health and care research system to deliver research efficiently
* Work in accordance with RRDN contractual requirements (Performance and Operating Framework) and Host‑related policies and procedures
* Support problem‑solving, on request, to support RDN customers with identified challenges in study delivery
