We are a team of around 200+ people distributed globally and are engaged in a wide array of projects touching all business units (Institutional Securities, Investment Management, Wealth Management) and functions (e.g. Operations, Finance, Risk, Trading, Treasury, Resilience) across the Firm.
The team vision is a multi-year effort to simplify firm’s data architecture and business processes front-to-back with goals of reducing infrastructure and manpower costs, improving the ability to demonstrate control of data, empowering developers by providing consistent means of handling data, facilitate data-driven insights & decision making.

Purpose of the Job:
The Engagement Analyst will support the delivery of the engagement agenda for Enterprise Technology. Working closely with the Engagement Lead, the incumbent will help to unite and connect individuals across the function as ‘one team’ and align to the goals across Technology (GCIO), and the wider Bank. They will be an active part of a broader engagement team across multiple technology functions and global regions. The role holder will build strong, collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders to support and drive an inclusive culture and enable our people to thrive in their work.
Responsibility:
* Supporting the Engagement Lead in fostering a sense of community and belonging across the team, increasing engagement for staff through targeted, meaningful and consistent activity.
* Helping to shape and deliver internal Enterprise Technology specific engagement plans that connect back to, and support key strategies across Technology, and the wider Bank.
* With or on behalf of the Engagement Lead, representing Enterprise Technology in comms and engagement forums.
* Supporting the agenda and organisation of forums including All Hands, Town Halls, colleague exchanges, and others as appropriate – and understanding feedback data provided at these forums.
* Assisting in / creating and disseminating high quality, clear, engaging content for a range of key stakeholders.
* Working on programmes that support targeted learning across the team, driving knowledge sharing and DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) initiatives.
* Being active in, and connecting with, various DEI forums across Technology in alignment with the Engagement Lead.
* Working on initiatives that support and develop talent across the department and enable the well-being and psychological safety of the team.
* Supporting positive change across the organisation through a strong network of colleagues who contribute to culture change, comms and engagement, and support the Technology Strategy and People Strategy for GCIO.
* Essential candidate requirements (experience, skills, competencies etc.):
* An experienced engagement analyst (project coordinator) with experience supporting and delivering people initiatives across a wide range of topics
* (including but not limited to; DEI, learning & development, recognition, talent planning).
* Ability to support on and/or deliver high quality engagement forums, such as Townhalls, All Hands, exchanges and other colleague information and
* feedback sessions, often in partnership with stakeholders and collaborators.
* Awareness of creating high-quality, compelling internal communications that support key messages. Interest in, and respect for branding guidelines as set
* out by the organisation.
* Able to produce creative, high-quality materials using tools such as Zoom, Slido, MS PowerPoint. Strong presentation skills is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work effectively with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority across diverse networks and multi-
* regional geographies.
* Desirable: Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple threads of work under pressure to tight timelines and remain calm.
