Responsibilities:
As a Paediatric Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality nursing care to paediatric patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
* Administering medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
* Assessment and Planning:
o Conducting thorough assessments of paediatric patients and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop individualised care plans.
o Involving parents and guardians in care planning and providing support and education.
* Working closely with paediatricians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
* Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and contributing valuable insights to patient care plans.
* Documentation:
o Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC registration.
* Paediatric Nursing qualification and a passion for paediatric care.
* Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in paediatric nursing.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
