Applications are invited for to apply for the post of Critical Care Data Manager within the Clyde sector critical care services.
The Clyde sector critical care service is working to a model of RAH having twelve level 2 beds and 11 level 3 beds.
The IRH has a working model of nine level 2 beds with the capacity for stabilize and transfer off-site for level 3 care.
All the units in Clyde deliver a service to multi specialties.
The post holder will be an essential part of the team in gathering, inputting and reporting critical care data both at a local and national level. They will work collaboratively with the clinical team and SICSAG (Scottish Intensive Care Society Audit Group) to coordinate the data management and respond to requests for reporting as part of the clinical governance framework.
Potential applicants should be highly motivated, with a clinical background of acute care and knowledge of working with NHS IT patient management systems. You will be responsible for collection, collation, validating and updating of clinical systems. You will be expected to support with delivering an education strategy within the clinical team to develop and enhance existing data management processes.
