Overview
My client is a Financial Services business working with clients across Insurance, Life and Pensions providing specialist capital management and risk transfer solutions. They are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead a critical phase of organisational change. This is a high impact role suited to a delivery focused Programme Manager who thrives in evolving environments and can bring structure, pace, and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive outsourcing and migration programmes end to end, ensuring minimal disruption
2. Lead and deliver complex transformation initiatives across the business
3. Establish and embed programme governance within an immature change environment
4. Work hands on across planning, execution, risk management, and delivery oversight
5. Manage and challenge Big Four consulting partners to ensure value and accountability
6. Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business and technology
7. Identify and mitigate programme risks, issues, and dependencies
8. Provide clear reporting and communication to executive leadership
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
9. Strong outsourcing and migration programme experience
10. Proven track record as a Transformation Programme Manager within Financial services
11. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in low maturity or evolving change environments
12. Experience managing and holding Big Four partners to account
13. Hands on delivery rather than just strategic
14. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
15. Strong programme governance and risk management capability
16. Exceptional soft skills and influencing ability
17. Pragmatic, delivery focused approach
18. Comfortable bringing structure to ambiguity
19. Resilient and adaptable in fast moving environments
20. Strong commercial awareness
